“Why do you like Rajinikanth so much?”
Maybe it’s because people who have struggled their way up, and those still fighting to make something of themselves, see a part of their own journey in him.
Rajini is not just someone people admire because he became a huge star. His story means something deeper to anyone who knows what it feels like to struggle, dream big, and keep moving forward.
Where you start doesn’t have to decide where you end up. Thanks for being an inspiration, Thalaiva. ♥️🙏

IMO, the 2021 trophy has to be the most underrated one CSK has ever won. The 2010, 2018, and 2023 victories often overshadow the 2021 season. After the kind of season we had in 2020,that too for the first time, eyebrows were raised, questions were asked about if MS had finally run out of his juju as captain, and haters were happy that CSK was finally done and dusted. To top it, the season did not start as expected since we lost the opener against DC, and my honest thoughts were, "Are we in for another 2020 here?" But then the turnaround was unbelievable. We won five matches on the trot, and then came the usual monster Pollard show who took yet another game from us. And then covid hit back. Reports started to circle that the second half of the season would be in Dubai yet again. Honestly, I was just terrified with all the dejavu about 2020. But what followed in the second half was just massive. Rutu started with a brilliant knock that gave us a clean win against our arch-nemesis, and we backed it up with three more wins. Achieving Top 2 - the usual destination for CSK,gave much confidence like always, and to back that, we had a terrific Q1 where we finally defeated DC that season after a series of loss against them (thanks to the evergreen finisher Thala who just proved age is indeed just a number). And then the finale. Drama started at the toss itself where we were put in to defend at a venue where no one had successfully defended. And to top that, we just scored 191 against the same KKR. My mind was just filled with trauma caused by Bisla, and to add fuel to that, the scorecard looked ominous. Venky was all over the CSK lineup, threatening to do a Bisla, but then came the Lord who showed who was the boss. What followed after that was just a trademark MS's CSK defense where we crushed the opposition and took the fourth trophy. Though it might look like one of the less celebrated trophies among the fans, the comeback is something that should be talked about for ages. The team just walked the talk of our skipper, with the iconic statement, "We will come back stronger; that's what we are known for."
And as a cherry on top, we won the title at the same venue where we failed to qualify to playoffs for the first time
Bring these days back @ChennaiIPL 😭💛
