I have officially taken legal action against my landlady and the police.

On October 19, 2026, my lawyers filed an application at the Lagos State High Court to enforce my fundamental human rights following the threats, harassment, and frightening situation I have been dealing with.

This is about my safety, my dignity, and my right to exist as a transgender woman in Nigeria without living in fear.

I never imagined that trying to live peacefully in my own home would bring me to this point. But I cannot afford to stay silent when my safety and freedom are at stake.

I am grateful to the lawyers at Minority Watch who are helping me fight this battle. I still need support to cover rent expenses, transportation, feeding, and other basic needs while this case continues.
