I remember a time when men hated women who openly wanted marriage and children. They were too much pressure and wanted too much. Men clamored around the “cool easygoing” women who weren’t obsessed with babies and trapping men into marriage, but somewhere something shifted
After you get out of a toxic relationship & start thriving, you look back at how you acted over that person & cringe at yourself. Like damn, I should have been gone!!
People say “well, if they cut your property taxes who will take care of the roads?” No one is taking care of the roads now so where is my tax money going?
Dark-skinned women deserve safety.
Dark-skinned women deserve freedom.
Dark-skinned women deserve protection.
Dark-skinned women deserve belief.
Dark-skinned women deserve care.
Dark-skinned women deserve justice.
Dark-skinned women deserve to live.
the butler was so racist that he couldn’t take his boss getting married to a black woman so he trapped everybody’s soul in the damn mansion until he got bored and saw a way out…
😭 this movie is lowkey insane.
@PopBase A lot of people remember this movie for the memes and the awkward acting, but it was one of the first big attempts to address online bullying when platforms were still figuring themselves out. It wasn’t perfect, but it started conversations that still matter.
And mind you, none of them were crying over a man, they were crying because they wanted the freedom to live their lives the way they chose, and I think that’s what makes their stories even more beautiful.
