You do realize that making an entire movie to respond to this kind of sentiment doesn’t exactly project confidence, right?

It screams insecurity.

They lacked so much confidence in Miles that they character assassinated an entire multiverse of Peter Parker’s and turned Miguel into a villain to make Miles special.

They could have just had Miles fight some other multiversal threat, like focusing fully on Spot and his effects, but no, they went and did the typical “the new blood is cooler and DIFFERENT from the old blood” movie because they didn’t have the confidence to let Miles stand on his own.

Maybe you need to tell the writers to stop being so insecure about him.
