@SalemCorvin@NirvanaM1nd Maybe if MJ was the one who was shot and he had to sell his marriage to save her. It’d still be stupid as shit but at least it wouldn’t ruin his character.
@Pallav2603 Everything we see from Miles’ own life in ATSV is just Peter Parker stuff. Miles is Peter Darker, he’s an obvious Peter Parker replacement but without any integrity.
You do realize that making an entire movie to respond to this kind of sentiment doesn’t exactly project confidence, right?
It screams insecurity.
They lacked so much confidence in Miles that they character assassinated an entire multiverse of Peter Parker’s and turned Miguel into a villain to make Miles special.
They could have just had Miles fight some other multiversal threat, like focusing fully on Spot and his effects, but no, they went and did the typical “the new blood is cooler and DIFFERENT from the old blood” movie because they didn’t have the confidence to let Miles stand on his own.
Maybe you need to tell the writers to stop being so insecure about him.
How some Spider-Man fans act over Marvel getting experimental and making Jean Grey the antagonist in a Spider-Man movie after a 10 movie, 10 TV show and 14 video game long streak of Spider-Man villains
I feel like people are way too dramatic about BND
It bodies its 3 predecessors and is one of the best post-TSSM Spider-Man things alongside the Spider-Verse films
But trying to say it’s better than the Raimi movies is kinda overzealous
@TobiShades I say this as a white ass dude, but performative white people that constantly want to show you how not racist they are, are often very racist internally lmao
That newest episode of Lanterns is so fucking on the nose lmfao
Can there be one, I beg you just one mentor protege story where the entire point of the story isn't to shit all over the mentor?
