Text: 1 Corinthians 11:23-25

In the Bible text, the Almighty God is saying to His disciples that the major reason why He established the Lord's supper is so that His disciples would remember Him.

▪︎ If you're sick, as you eat the bread, remember that while He was on earth, He healed the sick.
Remember that not only can He heal, but He can also make the sick whole.

▪︎ Remember that in Mark 5:25-34, a woman touched the hem of His garment and was healed. Not only was she healed, but He also made her whole.

▪︎ Remember that not only can He cure the incurable, but He can also raise the dead.
John 11:39-43

▪︎ Remember that you're partaking of the bread that is symbolic of the body of the One Who can heal the sick and make them whole.

▪︎ When you come to eat the Holy Communion and there is anyone with a financial need, remember that He fed 5000 people with a few fishes and bread. John 6:5-13
As you eat this bread, remember that occasion and be confident.
He will not only supply your need, but He will also meet your needs beyond expectations.

▪︎ If you come to the Holy Communion sad, remember that in John 11:35-44, He wept, but joy came afterwards.
Remember that not only will your sorrow be gone, but you will also laugh last.

▪︎ Remember that in Mark 4:35-41 when there was a storm, He slept.
When you come to the Holy Communion, remember that He has stilled storms before. Be calm, relax, all is going to be well.

I have good news for you;
The Bible says weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning.
Whatever is bothering you tonight, before morning, it will be gone.

▪︎ When you come to drink the wine, remember that in John 14:12, He said you will do greater works than He did.
You shall do these by the power of the Holy Ghost.

Remember the words of the One Who said you will not be an ordinary Christian.
You will do greater works beyond expectations, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Salvation Call
All these promises and blessings are only applicable to those who are a part of the family of God.

If you haven't given your life to Jesus or would like to rededicate your life, ask the Lord to have mercy on you, forgive your sins, wash you clean with His blood, and save your soul.

Prayer Points
▪︎ Father, as I eat this bread tonight, let all my needs be met, and even more.

As you drink the wine, cry to the Almighty God:
▪︎ The power to do more than You did, release into me tonight.

🕊️ Redeemer’s Health Village, established by RCCG, invested $4M in its robotic surgery programme.

🕊️ Redeemer’s Health Village (RHV), a 300-bed multispecialty hospital established by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has launched a robotic surgery programme in Lagos.

🕊️ RHV’s CEO, Dr. Adedamola Dada, said the facility invested $4M in the robotic surgery services.

🕊️ The programme involves two robotic surgical systems, one for clinical procedures and another for training
Nigerian medical professionals.

🕊️ RCCG is partnering with RoboMed Global Inc., USA, and is establishing a Robotic Academy to train Nigerian surgeons and other healthcare professionals.

🕊️ The programme is intended to cover areas including urology, general surgery, gynaecology, colorectal, thoracic and hepatobiliary surgery.

Jonathan Sia was only 23 years old and just one week away from graduating when he was hospitalized with a kidney disorder.

After being intubated, he could no longer speak. In his final moments, his father said Jonathan began gesturing as though he could see someone.

He handed him a pen and paper, and although Jonathan was barely strong enough to hold it, he managed to write three words: “Jesus is real.”

Seconds later, his heart stopped. Jonathan passed away with a smile on his face.

Looks like my generation has been convinced against parenting.

So anyone who makes the sacrifice to actively raise and nurse their children is tagged as "unambitious, irresponsible, lazy and idle"

The family system is not a glamorous one.

We certainly don't get awards for raising godly seeds,
But God certainly rewards our faithfulness and diligence in providing the presence and exemplary living that raises Christian disciples out of babes and sucklings.

Please, if you've chosen to be very deliberate about parenting in a way that makes you appear too homely and too careful, don't be intimidated by the voices of ridicule.

Your labours count,
Your work is relevant
Your seed will produce a great harvest.

Everyone claims to be preaching the bible,
Everyone claims to be preaching the gospel.
Everyone claims to be preaching Jesus.

But what's really happening is that many use the bible to preach human ideas.

Many preach another gospel that has no Christ, no cross and no salvation.

Many are preaching "Jesus" because he is a great tool for self-promotion and the marketing of religious empires.

The Lord knows those that are His.
Hopefully, believers can also do better at distinguishing "ghost workers" from living, true labourers.

But priests and prophets who are hurt from the anguish of God's name being desecrated are tagged as extremist sadists who should be avoided.

Again, it's either God and His kingdom aren't real, or our joining with Him is not!
