Dear Fans, Teammates, Coaches, and Supporters,

It is with mixed emotions that I announce my retirement from being professional ice hockey goalie.

I am immensely grateful for the opportunities I have had throughout my career. Being a member of Colorado Avalanche organization has been an honor and something I couldn't imagine as a kid. I am proud of the accomplishments we have achieved together on and off the ice. How we grew as a team, under amazing coaches making it all the way to the holly grail of hockey- The Stanley cup.

To my fellow teammates, thank you for the camaraderie, the shared triumphs, and the unforgettable moments both on and off the ice. It has been an incredible journey, and I am grateful to have shared it with such an extraordinary group of individuals.

And to the fans, thank you for your unwavering support and dedication. Your cheers from the stands have fueled my determination and inspired me to give my all, game after game. Your belief in me has fueled my passion and confidence , and I am forever thankful for your contributions to our success.

As I transition into the next chapter of my life, I am excited to explore new opportunities and pursue other passions. While I may be hanging up my skates, the memories and friendships forged during my time in the hockey community will always hold a special place in my heart.

While this chapter may be closing, I am excited for what the future holds. I look forward to remaining connected to the hockey community and continuing to support the growth and development of the sport that has given me so much.

However, unideal, if head injuries are a legit concern, or just normal injures continue, or (god forbid) suffers something career ending,we’ve seen that they can somewhat manage (at least right now).Without him, something like the issues faces w/ EJ’s current contract.

I’d,selfishly,like to see CM & JS continue to be aggressive and take the risk,his ceiling’s so high-to the point when he’s healthy and on his game,I truly think he’s the reason they win the cup (IF). We’ve at least seen when he has played half a season, they can
