but on the topic of securing elections integrity here in the us (& abroad), general measures have been put forward publicly – including my own involvement – with certain security discussions on details involving especially sensitive systems & vulnerabilities remaining classified

broadly, i believe mail-in voting can be & typically is inherently more secure than purely electronic methods

i find paper ballots with secure handling & rounds of counting/recounting procedures subject to routine auditing by default to be necessary

i find mechanical & electronic tabulation to be a necessary aspect of that process with timely reporting for purposes of public scrutiny & trusted officials accuracy/integrity appraisals at every step of the highly charged & extremely important, influential moments that elections are in the course of human events here in the states & beyond... these decisions shape & define the course of history — requiring our utmost, sincere attention to matters of security & integrity

i will be available for further offline discussions with trusted officials & verified individuals, but here i'll leave you with the reality that this is an inflection point where we need to understand that election meddling can happen, has occurred & is ongoing – posing some unacceptable risks to the sanctity of truth in elections – everyone is biased, i can only encourage you to consider interested, independent analyses as we continue to work through nonpartisan discussions on how to forge free & fair elections wherever they may occur worldwide while maintaining the highest levels of integrity, security & commitment to verifiable truth at all costs

russian (& russian-connected) "elections" are widely understood to be "results" dictated by rigging, interference & influence operations

there are notable, interesting failures very recently (romania then hungary)

in the us it's not 2020 that's so suspicious – it's 2016 & 2024
