I'm not saying I have too many books (impossible) but I am saying this has taken me four hours and I've only done general fiction and sci fi and I've still got classics, fantasy and non fiction left.

First time using my rooty root tube whatsit to try and get some plants to do their thing.

Cuttings were from my grandma, who has no idea what the plant is but it had practically taken over her kitchen table

As the weather gets colder, it's important to stay warm. Experts* recommend soft blankets and cats. Experts do not recommend getting up and standing on a cold kitchen floor to do the washing up.

Don't know what they are, but they're very autumnal

If they're not something violently dangerous, I'm planning on pressing the leaves and framing them

@Mikey22044 If it goes through something behind the Rayburn we're in trouble, that's our boiler and it's too heavy to move... it looks like it's just been going for skirting boards and insulation so far

@herby_hare @Ali_Cat63 I mean so far it hasn't EATEN the ryvita, just dragged them under the cupboard... maybe it tried them and gave up. Exactly like I do (and from the sounds of it you do) with them too

@Mikey22044 Bleuughh! I can't face the idea of poison. Ideally I'd like to trap them and release them, but I'm not sure that works with rats. I've got the cats sitting guard in any case

@Ali_Cat63 Really? I am trying suet at the moment, although that's only because I was using it to make dumplings anyway... if they'll eat ryvita they'll eat anything!
