いまでは「負の歴史」を抱えたとされる場所において、その歴史を背負う前の時点で撮られた白黒写真を私たちは人工知能を用いてカラー化しました。歴史に別の角度から光を当てるこの試みを、私たちはUndarkenと呼んでいます。より適切な色の情報もお待ちしています。（東京大学大学院学際情報学府の授業の一環として実施）

In November of the same year the picture was taken, the building of Busan Train Station caught fire from temporary dwellings of refugees. Many other building also vanished in that large fire.

It is said that due to the influx of refugees, the presence of US military and the relocation of government, Busan became overcrowded as never before. The port of Busan which can be seen in the center-left of the photo, had become the main transportation hub.

チェルノブイリ原発事故前のプリピャチ川。現在この川は立入禁止区域から放射性物質が流れ出す最大のルートであると言われている。元の白黒写真はチェルノブイリツアーガイドのシロタさんが提供してくださったもの。カラー写真はニューラルネットワークで自動色付けし色補正をしたものである。

@linacana @linacana 旅先からのリツイートとご報告ありがとうございます。充実したプログラムのようですね。立入禁止区域は、季節によって印象がかなり異なると個人的に思いますが、初夏のゾーンをどう思われたのか興味深いです。
