@amytheartist There's a whole genre of social media accounts of Americans who were struggling financially in the US, moved to Europe, make less $$ but have a far higher QoL. America is a bit of a dystopia for some people.
@AStratelates@amytheartist Trade offs. You make less, but you also work 40 days less per year, get better/more benefits, better employee protections, & have a far less stressful work culture. For some, probably a huge step up. Like, able to enjoy ur daily life instead of having to grind until retirement.
@whatifalthist -Family disintegration is terrible for children. Ideas about why it happens & what can be done to prevent it are important. But so many accounts in this sphere fall into shallow/inaccurate interpretations that might rile up certain readers but don't really have much insight.
@whatifalthist -It's untrue that dads who want custody r denied. Majority who ask for custody get it. But most men don't seek it. A hardworking father w/no history of abuse who wants to see his kids? He's gonna get custody. Most absent dads choose to be absent. 3/

@Michael_Yon@chrismartenson@ganaha_masako Martenson spent months in '20 pumping out fear p**n abt C19 & the end of society (but if you pay him $$ he'll guide ur prep).Eventually he stopped his C19 freakout. Next heard from him when he declared undeniable evidence of a second shooter @ Trump rally ... Poor discernment.
@AuronMacintyre The % of women who forgo marriage/motherhood bc they r ambitious career climbers is so small compared to % of women who simply *must* work to survive, & sense the extreme vulnerability of depending 100% on most modern men.
Discourse around this incredibly dumb, misses the point.
@LibertyAnders She does look incredible. She's also had many cosmetic procedures including a nose job, boob job, lip lift, botox, and fillers. I'd love to know the name of her doctor. But let's be real: it's not merely the carnivore diet that makes her look like that.
@BioavailableNd Insulation and reliance on mechanical ventilation.
Old homes were "leaky" (as in air leaked in/out). So even if moisture intruded, it could dry out w/out molding. Now homes are sealed and insulated. Moisture condenses in walls/enters via leaks, and then cannot evaporate quickly.
@_binshi_@hollowearthterf But, if given the opportunity ... he would probably pursue you romantically again, yea? That's the case almost always. Some study floating around confirmed this: women can have platonic friendships w/men, but men: almost never. Just a waiting game. Couldn't form the bond w/out it
@magicinthealps@hollowearthterf It's definitely a conundrum. Being ND basically assures social deficits/difficulties/oddness, which women are especially attuned to sensing & expelling. Men tend to be either less perceptive/more tolerant of them (esp if they think they can sleep w/you).
@amytheartist Both he & Malice have come off as disliking women recently (or maybe I've just picked up on it recently). Which is a shame re: Malice, bc his content is more interesting. But he's late 40s and single, so maybe it's somewhat inevitable that resentment creeps in.
@SmolderingDuvet @Orthotropics I'm also curious. Bone can clearly move (in a negative way) as an adult. So why is it considered difficult/impossible to get it to move in a positive way?
@asdrawingaf This has been my experience. Illness + worsened malocclusion = drastic change in personality, voice, social 'presence' and cognition. All for the worse. It sounds woo until you live it.
