The first meeting of @UPUA's 14th Assembly had an open student forum where several students criticized UPUA for allowing a disorderly election for the inaugural Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) caucus seat.

Tom Sarabok (@ThomasSarabok) just upset the Speaker election, beating Chelsey Wood and Tyler Akers.

After 15 hours of campaigning and a delay in the election results due to possible election code violations, the UPUA's 14th Assembly was announced shortly after midnight.

JUST IN: There has been a delay in @UPUA election results that were supposed to be announced at 10:30 p.m. due to a rule being broken in the elections code.

We’ll send updates as we receive them.
