@ImogeneTheVQ *He hums softly in turn, letting himself relax into the feeling.*

*Inviting someone over for what was, in all respects, an adult sleepover as a second date felt...silly. But it had been a spur of the moment decision after extended text conversations and a positive first meeting, so it did feel safe...

@DazaisFakeAcct Horses and my crows, mostly. Though I have a wolfdog on my property as well.
I've had stray cats come by briefly, but they tend to prefer another in town. I can't complain; she treats them well.

[Dr. J. Crane @UnderMyOwnMask]

This is what they think of me...?

[Dr. J. Crane @UnderMyOwnMask]

@DazaisFakeAcct I keep a garden, and I have a few animals.

[Dr. J. Crane @UnderMyOwnMask]

@DazaisFakeAcct A fantastic trade to learn.

[Dr. J. Crane @UnderMyOwnMask]

@DazaisFakeAcct It's a logical step to take. They are skilled in these things...

[Dr. J. Crane @UnderMyOwnMask]

@DazaisFakeAcct It's still rather finicky and drifts out of place often...

// Being so fr, that is a light up fake cig held in the mask's eye hole

[Dr. J. Crane @UnderMyOwnMask]

Agreed..

[𝑳𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚, 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚. @L0RD0FDESPAIR]

Kehehe, humans are often fools

[Dr. J. Crane @UnderMyOwnMask]

They thought it'd get me out of my own head. I still don't understand why they thought that.

[𝑳𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚, 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚. @L0RD0FDESPAIR]

oh? was your body too strewn for all to see??

[Dr. J. Crane @UnderMyOwnMask]

@DazaisFakeAcct As a matter of fact...

[Dr. J. Crane @UnderMyOwnMask]

@DazaisFakeAcct On the mask, sometimes.

[Dr. J. Crane @UnderMyOwnMask]

Unfortunately, more of one than you'd think.

[𝑳𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚, 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚. @L0RD0FDESPAIR]

Kehehe… you haven’t the slightest idea

[Dr. J. Crane @UnderMyOwnMask]

Not particularly?

[𝘽𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙜𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙘𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙞𝙚 @Ghostinggarlic]

... i mean , is this not how you dress like?

[Dr. J. Crane @UnderMyOwnMask]

I'm glad it's comfortable, then. Helps stretch one out, certainly.

[𝑳𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚, 𝒍𝒐𝒌 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚. @L0RD0FDESPAIR]

this time, yes!

I’m bored… and this feels nice on my arms. somehow…

[Dr. J. Crane @UnderMyOwnMask]

In this city, I fear that is expected. Are you up there of your own volition?

[𝑳𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚, 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚. @L0RD0FDESPAIR]

I don’t often expect aware visitors.

[Dr. J. Crane @UnderMyOwnMask]

@DazaisFakeAcct I will admit the glowing eyes are a nice touch...

[Dr. J. Crane @UnderMyOwnMask]

*He looks right back, the ghost of a smile playing at his scarred lips.*

[𝑳𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚, 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚. @L0RD0FDESPAIR]

(Do… scarecrows normally look at people?)

[Dr. J. Crane @UnderMyOwnMask]

@DazaisFakeAcct It's a choice, certainly.

[Dr. J. Crane @UnderMyOwnMask]

*The professor's approach is slow, calm. He tilts his head.
This one has better proportions than he's used to seeing in Gotham, so maybe scarecrows here don't even attempt to get the human shape quite right...*

[𝑳𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚, 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚. @L0RD0FDESPAIR]

🎃

(Oh, won’t someone check on the scarecrow…)

[Dr. J. Crane @UnderMyOwnMask]

@ImogeneTheVQ "That doesn't mean you have to stop... Please?"
