I asked Muslims who became more connected to their deen later in life what finally brought them back to Allah.
They all mentioned one thing.
And the answer honestly stayed with me:
"The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Know that what has struck you could not have missed you, and what has missed you could not have struck you.' (Abu Dawud 4699). If that settled into your chest fully, it would remove half of your anxiety.
Ibn Taymiyyah said belief in qadar is not fatalism. It is the foundation of real courage. His fear is redirected to where it belongs: to Allah alone.
Accept the decree. Fight within it. That is the Sunnah."
My brain can’t comprehend how a monkey and a penguin get more attention than an actual human baby, starving in the middle of a genocide. People in Gaza deserve to live too. No child deserves to be starved to death or shot in the head.
Why does Allah say this so often?
Because He knows a woman's sadness isn't surface-level. It runs deep.
When a woman is sad, it affects her entire being:
Her body.
Her sleep.
Her health.
Her heart.
It even touches her hormones, her energy, and her ability to smile.
The Corgi was the one leading them home
The German Shepherd was injured
The dogs kept a protective formation around the German Shepherd
The Corgi stopped often to make sure they were still okay
It took them 2 days to get home
They are neighbourhood friends
I’m going to cry😭😭😭
I used to think "Feeling nothing in salah" meant something was wrong with my iman.
That I was broken.
That I was a hypocrite.
That everyone else was feeling it except me.
Then I learned a word that changed how I see the entire struggle.
they really don’t warn you about the slowing down of the metabolism as a woman enough 🤣
the shock after being always skinny / slim & actually having to watch what you eat as you approach 30
crazy stuff
As a child I thought the lesson of history was that, the good guys always win. As an adult, I realized the actual lesson is that, the winners declare themselves the good guys
I hope today's event is a wake up call for everyone. It's not a even about Palestine anymore, isreal and the U.S are starting a war against every nearby country and we all know why. I say this for the thousand time, IT IS NEVER ABOUT A PROMISED LAND ISREAL IS A TERRORIST STATE
