she's right. and she's the only one who can say it, because she was in the room.

if you want to know why nothing in this country ever gets punished, it starts here. 2010.

THE SETUP

2008: new constitution. separation of powers for the first time.

but the judges were gayoom's judges. appointed by his justice minister. some as political payback. of ~200 sitting judges, ~40 were graduates. not all in law. the rest had a 6-month certificate.

so the constitution built in one fix. article 285. every sitting judge: two years' probation. by 7 aug 2010 the JSC had to check each one against article 149. qualifications. ethics. record. pass, you're a judge. fail, you're out.

one chance to start clean.

THE COMMISSION

JSC had ten members. six had something to lose from a clean bench.

chair: justice mujthaz fahmy. 6-month certificate. a 1998 corruption finding for pocketing MRf 900 overtime. he argued education shouldn't count. nor misconduct before 2000.

he was grading himself.

jan 2010: the one JSC member pushing for a real check, high court chief justice abdul ghani, was pushed off by three colleagues.

feb 2010: the "standard" was written in three 90-minute sessions. a judge stays unless convicted of a hadd crime, breach of trust or bribery. nothing else.

no degree. no ethics check. no screening. nobody opened the files.

the files, per the one member who read them: judges who'd served criminal sentences and come back. findings of dishonesty. complaints of sexual offences against minors, unaddressed.

an MP on the JSC, one of the constitution's own drafters, declared article 285 "symbolic". one word. that's what killed it. the speaker, also on the JSC, said nothing.

THE FIGHT

velezinee wrote to the JSC. to parliament. filed complaints. demanded an inquiry.

parliament's committee met the JSC on 2 aug 2010 and refused to discuss 285.

the president asked for a review. the chair put the letter in a drawer. 1,652 citizens petitioned. bin.

THE ROOM

4 aug 2010. a locked room.

59 judges take the oath. 11 weren't even covered by 285. confirmed to age 70. 30 to 40 years. supervising: abdulla saeed, who had declared himself chief justice.

one member walked in and refused to be quiet.

https://t.co/1FQMSAPEPS

jan 2011: she's stabbed three times in daylight on majeedhee magu.

may 2011: nasheed removes her from the JSC. no reason given.

they'd called her the "285 madwoman" for a year. the label stuck. the files didn't.

WHY THIS IS THE ROOT

a bench nobody checked can't check anyone.

MMPRC: $90m. 12 years. how much came back?
rilwan: 12 years. who was tried?
her 2010 files: magistrates trading child support for favours. complaint folders nobody opened.

this isn't lack of evidence. it's a court built not to punish.

and it's why we're Caa1. nobody lends cheap to a country where a contract depends on who the judge knows. so the state borrows at junk rates, taxes you to repay it, and calls the repayment an upgrade. the courts and the debt are the same problem.

THE MACHINE

2014: yameen fires the chief justice, makes abdulla saeed chief justice. the man who ran the 2010 oath.

2025: muizzu's JSC suspends three justices an hour before a hearing. the court's been frozen since.

same commission. same move. new owner each time.

velezinee called 2010 a "covert coup". she wrote it down in december 2010. today MDP calls 2025 a "judicial coup". same word. fifteen years apart. opposite directions.

everybody recognises a coup when it's done to them.

this is why "let the public vote to remove judges" means nothing. judges aren't captured when they're removed. they're captured when they're appointed, confirmed, and left alone. 2010 proved it. 2025 confirmed it.

THE ROOM, AGAIN

4 august 2010. a locked room. 59 oaths.

every unpaid loan, every unpunished theft, every "no evidence" since then walked out of that room.

one woman tried to stop it. we called her mad.

she wrote it all down. read it.

Muizzu is not the President of the Republic of Maldives anymore. He’s a Trojan horse planted by Zionists to conquer Maldives for them. His handler is a Zionism-enabler and Emirati businessman called Alabbar.

When the President of Maldives becomes the agent of a foreign business interest, he ceases to be the president. In such instance, no office-bearer of the State has to obey the orders of Mohamed Muizzu of M. Dhimyaath. If they do, they too would be committing a criminal offence.

It is a requirement in the Constitution for the president to be faithful to the people. Power is vested in the people. People were given that authority by God Almighty Himself as explained in numerous verses of the Holy Qur’an. Mohamed Muizzu was elected to the presidency by the people. He was not appointed by God Almighty directly as was the case of Talut (Saul), king of Israelites. Talut was not a prophet-king like Solomon AS, or his father David AS.

RasMale’ was reclaimed to address the housing issue of Maldivians, especially the people living in the Greater Male’ Area.

Not even a square foot of that land should be given to the legal entity called Eagle Hills or the person called Alabbar. All negotiations with them should be aborted forthwith. Whatever terms that may have been agreed with them and GOM so far are totally null and void. In fact, they are void ab initio.

People of Maldives do not want Muizzu to suggest any more solutions to the issues we face. He himself is the issue. The 4th April 2026 referendum on merging the presidential and parliamentary elections should be seen as a no-confidence vote in Muizzu. If he goes to a referendum now, he will not get even 10% of the vote. He knows this very well. He should respect the verdict of the people.

The solution to the issues we have is very clear: The resignation of Mohamed Muizzu. There is no other solution. Rather than the solution, he has become a scourge to Maldives.

If you want to hear the real concerns regarding medical negligence of @igmhmv , visit ICU waiting area.

[Ahumadh @AhmedMajdhee]

@igmhmv Two weeks ago, an elderly woman was brought to the ER. She was mistakenly given another patient's medication, injections, and even a blood transfusion of the wrong blood type. Her condition deteriorated, and she was transferred to the ICU. 1/2

Heard another case that happened at treetop icu last week. Medical negligence is brushed under the rug in this country.
