Financial Times reports that Donald Trump has privately urged Ukraine to intensify deep strikes on Russian territory, even asking President Zelenskyy whether Kyiv could target Moscow if the US supplied long-range weapons.
It's about goddamn time.
Same thing happened before the shutdown.
He pays a few of the loudest ones (so they thank him in the chat and stop the negative comments), and the others are left with nothing.
And people still fall for it.
I'm not joking, @fx_replay idealTP column gave me an extra +30R on my 2024 backtest. It's insane.
If you trade a fixed-R strategy, you can calculate the strategy's returns at different R:R ratios without needing to actually enter those trades.
We're creating a product for traders, and I've downloaded TikTok for the first time in a few years to get content ideas.
The amount of brain rot in the trading section is unbearable.
It really makes me appreciate how cleaned out X is in terms of content quality.
I scrolled for about 20 minutes, and it's just pure cancer.
If the percentage of traders who lost everything was 90%, it's probably up to 99.5% now.

backtesting data gives you so much mental edge that you probably don’t even realize.
having 200-500 trades in your excel sheet and seeing how even 9 losses in a row can happen - and you still end up very profitable by the end of the year - helps you handle those 9 losses much better than if you didn’t have that data.
people who say backtesting isn’t important because the market doesn’t run on past data either:
1. don’t have an edge themselves
2. are selling you a dream (in a discord or pdf format)
3. both

You can expand on the data that you write down.
- Entry hour. You can then group trades by hour/session and see if you have any good/bad performing sessions that you can avoid or focus on.
- Volume, ATR, or other volume indicators. You can then sort the data and view what win rate you get based on different volumes. For example, one of the findings could be that your strategy only performs well when the volume/ATR is above X.
- Other additional confluences. Maybe you have some indicators for certain conditions that you can include in the journaling. Track if the additional confluence was aligned with your trade and how it’s performing.
- Opportunities are endless

Got my ass absolutely clapped yesterday with -$43,534 on $NQ.
The good thing - no extreme negative emotions felt.
A year ago, this would have sent me into one of the biggest downward spirals.
Seeing the good in the bad and moving on 🫡
Seeing these ‘traders’ lose their minds here like 16-year-olds makes me question their entire trading career.
How could you have survived the mental toll that the market takes on you and then come here and lose your mind?
