We have two good candidates for Congress in San Francisco, but I'm voting for @Scott_Wiener. He's been a tireless fighter for the city, first as a supervisor and then in the State Senate. He takes climate change and clean energy seriously, and he's focused on bringing down costs for Californians.
โAnswers like cost and waiting lines are bullshitโ
No, actually, these are very real considerations with Medicare for All. Refusing to entertain even the most obvious constraints of every socialized healthcare system in existence is ABSURD.
Either the tax is annual โ and in that case it generates revenue annually, and some billionaires leave.
Or the tax is one-time โ in that case it generates revenue in just one year, and there is no incentive to leave.
It canโt be both at the same time.
finally got around to watching primetime and holy shit the discourse about it was so retarded in retrospect. hansen is portrayed as manic, sure, but its made abundantly clear that hes not cynical about what he's doing. any real criticism of his character felt like an afterthought
