HS baseball is different in Gwinnett County…Go to any game & you’ll see a future power five or pro player.
2024 LHP Joshua Evans (Peachtree Ridge HS) with easy low 90s velo.
2024 SS Adrian Jimenez (Lanier HS) barrels a heater here; 3-for-4 on the night.
Lanier wins 13-11.
Caden Palmer (14U, GA) fires the backside hard & turns on one for a strong 2B. Big physical kid, comes off the barrel loud when timed up @PG_Georgia#SESpringOpener
2024 Adrian Jimenez showing his sweet swing! Great balance and athleticism. Adrian plays anywhere on the dirt and hits with power to all fields. @Adubb_2@PBRGeorgia@PG_Georgia @JGoetzPBR @prostockbc
I believe Cal Sefcik averaged an exit speed of like 102 mph today, which is unreal. He got to a 108 mph max EV at the ProCase, 107 today. His spray chart was exclusively up the middle of the field.

Good 👀 tonight on this rankings riser. Simplified forward move allows him to track at high level. Rhythmic 1 piece load allows quick hands to work freely. Blazing 4.02 🏎💨 on the turn‼️

This is Ted Williams heat map, probably considered the best hitter of all time, notice the lowest average is low and away. Pitchers master that pitch and you are in business especially if you are 80% with it. The game has changed, but it really hasn't.

In the recruiting process, it’s important to make it easy for coaches and scouts to see you, evaluate you, and contact you!
It’s easier to hit a ball off a tee than it is to hit a pitch that you can’t see!
Cut out any time before the action. Coaches will watch you in between pitches when they come see you. No need to show anything other than the action! The swing, the delivery, the hustle through the bag at first base, etc.
