I recently heard of an 8-year marriage with three children that is almost collapsing because the wife’s mother became convinced by a psychic’s baseless claim that her son-in-law was cheating.

There was no evidence, but the wife eventually believed it too. She began checking her husband’s phone, monitoring his movements, questioning every call and message and constantly accusing him of infidelity.

He tried to reassure her and prove his innocence, but nothing was ever enough. The constant suspicion has become exhausting and he is now on the brink of walking away.
