Does the @mybmc realise this exposes its own corruption/ incompetence ?
If the structure is illegal, why did you wait till now?
If the structure is not illegal, then you are just politically motivated bullies.
#Thread on #JEENEET Exams:
In less than 48 hours, the JEE gets underway, even as India reaches the highest #COVID19 per day cases globally. There have been many reports of students taking their lives for the fear of giving exams in a pandemic, but there's been no postponement.
@GalaRiken@ugc_india Pretty sure that the @HRDMinistry is aware of our PM’s views regarding examinations and the role it plays in an individual’s life. Also, the MHRD governs the @ugc_india, so not sure what is the actual process when it comes to taking decisions about the same. 🤔 ????
at this point its like the UGC officials are stoned & they're throwing darts at a board to make decisions "oh let's say the exams are gonna be in July" "nah let's cancel" "no no let's just postpone at the last minute" "ooo how about not giving the students any clarity whatsoever"
Okay, honestly, at this point, can we just know where do they get their stuff from, what stuff are they on? This stuff seems good, can help you make some insane decisions, kids. It’s a joke. This and university exams, both. #MumbaiUniversity#MumbaiUniversityExams
@vijaita Just In | The final term exams are to be compulsorily conducted as per UGC Guidelines on Examinations and Academic
Calendar for the Universities; and as per the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) approved by
the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.

If fair and lovely is still going to market products that promote fairness, removing the “fair” out of the name is just performative and not corrective
I swore I would stay off of Twitter but I am too pissed off with this tweet so here it goes.
NO. Our parents generation is literally broken. They have no idea about mental health issues (plus the taboo) and many of them suffer from so many unresolved mental health issues.
Now that the system is going through this academic gap and are clueless about how to go about things, it’s time they introduced mental health as a subject in schools. Pls pls I beg pls
Exactly, not just normalising sharing posts on social media, but actually normalising the very act of having a real conversation about mental health. Start with your friends. Stop belittling them if they are seeing a therapist. Check in on their mental health. Talk to them.
It is very important to normalise talking about mental health and going to therapy. I know it's not easy to talk about things when all your life you are told, "oh you have everything you need/oh you're so young, how can you be depressed?" This is a very harmful narrative.
We don’t talk enough about how patriarchal cultures and toxic masculinity also hurt men. Men are told to suppress their emotions and that they’re “weak” for showing it, and this ends up hurting their mental health so much and drives them to extreme reactions.
