• The government has introduced a centralized procurement system to ensure uniform quality, transparency and timely distribution.

• ₹687.78 crore is being invested in uniforms and student welfare materials, reflecting the government’s commitment to education.

• CM A. Revanth Reddy has accorded top priority to strengthening the education sector, viewing expenditure on education as an investment in future generations.

As the new academic year 2026-27 begins on June 15, #TelanganaCM @revanth_anumula Sir ,is set to launch one of the state's most ambitious student welfare initiatives — the Breakfast Scheme and the expanded Mid-Day Meal Scheme covering students from Nursery, LKG, UKG to Class XII studying in government schools and junior colleges.

This transformative programme will eventually benefit nearly 22 lakh students across Telangana, ensuring that no child starts the school day hungry.

✅ Phase-1 Launch from June 15

• Breakfast scheme to begin in 1,302 educational institutions
• 1,269 government schools and 33 government junior colleges covered initially
• 1,44,610 students to receive nutritious breakfast six days a week (Monday to Saturday)

The government plans to expand the programme in phases to all government schools and junior colleges through a network of centralized kitchens.

🏗️ Massive Infrastructure Investment

• 39 centralized kitchens to be established across 33 districts
• Total estimated cost: ₹299.90 crore
• 7 existing kitchens to be upgraded
• Remaining kitchens to be newly constructed
• Government to bear 70% of construction costs
• Partner voluntary organizations to contribute 30%
• Telangana Educational Welfare and Infrastructure Development Organization will supervise implementation

💰 Major Financial Commitment

• Total annual expenditure: ₹720 crore
• ₹540 crore for breakfast programme
• ₹180 crore for milk and nutrition support
• Additional ₹56 crore allocated specifically for Intermediate students

🥛 Nutrition Focus

Students will receive:
• Milk on three days every week
• Ragi (finger millet) java on three days every week

Quantity:

Record debt. Record Corruption. Record fuel prices. Record unemployment. Record paper leaks. Record rupee fall.

It is often said that you can fool some people all the time, and all the people some of the time.

But Mr. Modi has managed to fool an entire nation for the last 12 years. Kudos to his efforts!

Since the formation of Telangana, the Modi Government has consistently neglected the state's aspirations and development.

Not a single major promise under the State Reorganisation Act has been fully honoured. From the Bayyaram Steel Plant to the denial of support for the Thummidihetti Barrage, from deliberate indifference towards paddy procurement to recent non-cooperation on Musi rejuvenation, Telangana has faced nothing but neglect, discrimination, and broken promises.

While Telangana sought development, the BJP chose division, repeatedly attempting to polarize society and sow communal tensions between Hindus and Muslims for political gain.

The era of betrayal and neglect is nearing its end. Under the leadership of Shri @RahulGandhi Ji, a new vision for India is emerging, one built on justice, development, and cooperative federalism.

Instead of calling out this anti-democratic move, the top BRS leadership chose to remain completely silent on the BJP's unethical actions.

Rejecting a valid nomination without even providing an opportunity for clarification is a stain on democracy and a violation of the spirit of the Constitution.
