@JoeGoodberry@getnickwright Conveniently left out that 2/3 years they didn’t have their star QB and still almost got in the playoffs. Also “4 years” is not accurate, it’s been 3 seasons they have missed the playoffs. 2026 hasn’t been played….
@GrChZebo@JBook_37@davebiddle I never saw fields grind out as many wins as smith. Don’t get me wrong I love fields but smith dragged osu to 3 wins against legit Michigan teams
@jumpoutHERB@NanduriNFL You literally named teams they beat in the natty, playoff semi, and then the other semi finalist. Oh and the rest of the teams are perennial playoff contenders.
@AriWasserman Losing their final season killed Braxton and TP’s reputation amongst casuals. Imagine if Vince Young got hurt in 2005 and he couldn’t play , he wouldn’t be remembered nearly the same
@BurnerBuckeye14 2010 and 2005 should be higher. I think 2005 at the end of the year would dog walk 2006. Defense was disgusting and Gonzalez was WR3… As far as the urban/day bias football was way different In 05-10 I feel. Tressel also beat some damn good teams.
@JBook_37 Transitive property is tough in sports too. For instance OSU has a FG attempt in 22 to beat UGA, who obliterated TCU, who beat Michigan, who beat OSU by 20+ points. I think OSU could have won, or given them all they could handle.
@ChaseDisPaper1@CJGoon@MattHayesCFB Also it’s “so easy” that osu didn’t win a title for 34 years until 2002. Michigan had two coaches that couldn’t have any success, and then it took harbaugh how many years? Florida had how many coaches that couldn’t continue what urban built.
@DylanEveryday Everyone saying “urban would have run him 20 times a game” yea and he would have had like 200+ yards. TP would have gotten the 4th against Michigan in 2016 by 10 yards
@davebiddle Love JT but even in the bollman offense TP could take over a game . If TP was on an urban offense with that talent and scheme he would have easily won
A heisman. Absolute freak athlete
@smokiesson@MeltdownRocks If we didn’t get screwed in the lotto several times (look it up, the worst luck of any nhl team in the lotto), this is an entirely different conversation. Pittsburgh got to draft Malkin and Crosby back to back, Chicago got toews and Kane, then bedard.
@buckeyefbnation Dogshit call. The puck moved in a straight line, our player never closed their hand or modified its path. Can’t make that call with the game on the line
@HeirloomMike@TheMarkMathur While we are making arbitrary comparisons, Brodeur played behind one of the best defensive teams in modern NHL history his entire career. The devils entire system was based on defense.
@HeirloomMike@TheMarkMathur Can’t compare boxing to 82 game seasons with 4 best of 7 series, and he has 3 cups. With 400 wins (how many goalies with 400 wins aren’t in the HOF?). I don’t see subjective measures (he didn’t “look” HOF) used very often either
