Under The Hood no.1: Braylon Doughty - Among the more underrated T100 arms, at just 20 years old, he’s lived up to the reputation of being the most polished prep arm of his draft class thus far. Here’s my breakdown of CLE’s #1 pitching prospect: https://t.co/Ppq4ogo4NL
Always has been. Day lost his fastball the moment McCord stepped on the field, and then Chip Kelly and Will Howard covered it up. The recruiting has been poor, the development doesn’t exist, and Day can’t be trusted to hire a staff. He must go.
- 1-4 against Michigan over the last 5 years
- 1-4 vs. their last top-10 opponents
- Haven’t won their conference since the shortened COVID season
Anyone who thinks this can’t be replaced is in denial.
Ryan Day has turned Ohio State into a .500 program. 6-5 in its last 11 games. More losses coming and no CFP. This will go down as one of the worst coaching performances in Ohio State history
Ryan Day is 6-5 over his last 11 games. There hasn’t been a stretch like this under a full time head coach at Ohio State since year ONE under Tressel.
We’re done here. There aren’t any excuses, and you can outline every clear misstep as a point in time that got us here.
Ryan Day hiring NFL cast-offs because he had it work once with CHIP KELLY epitomizes how lazy and bland his process is. The sooner the school and the coach part ways, the better. Ohio State the brand will not be hurt at all unless they hold on too long.
People will say “wow Ryan, that’s so mean, it’s his son”, and at the end of the day, it is his son. Hopefully when he’s fired, he will have endless amounts of time to go watch him at Northwestern
How could anyone expect the Ohio State team to be prepared and engaged if its head coach left his team last night and took a private jet to Canton to watch his son’s high school football game?
$13M/yr and he left his team on the eve of a massive game for several hours. Unserious

Who would you choose?
My first piece with @JustBB_Media: Seiya Suzuki’s best landing spots. Toronto is a match made in heaven, but will he end stay in Chicago, and if so, which team? https://t.co/YniDVPk07M
I don’t know how any team could see what Milwaukee did to win and think it was bunts/station to station ball. They are elite at scouting and developing high level athletes which makes them well rounded, and their improvement defensively when Lara and Pratt were promoted was huge.
Billy Beane still rocks. I'm 100% convinced some team is going to take the wrong lessons from Milwaukee and lose 100 games trying it.

Emmanuel Clase's attorney also asked the judge to limit her questions to witnesses, concerned it's aiding the prosecution.
The judge said she knows little about baseball. She's been asking for clarification on basics. Today she asked "Are Detroit and White Sox the same thing?"
Only three Cubs players in the Modern Era have posted an OPS+ of at least 125 in four of their first five seasons:
Ernie Banks
Kris Bryant
Seiya Suzuki 👀
