Alt News wrote to @metaindia about the page engaging in hate speech. The page was taken down for violating Facebook's community standards. It had over 2.7 lakh followers.

BJP Telangana MLA T Raja Singh was banned by Facebook in 2020 for violating its policy prohibiting violence and hate. He was marked as a "dangerous individual".
Recently, a 'fan page' operating in his name began posting similar content targeting minorities.

While he has been removed from all three platforms and will likely be terminated each time that he reappears, Pathak has a plethora of fan pages. Social media companies need to scrutinise hate speech in non-English languages to disallow such content from flourishing.

In 2020, 'Hindustani Bhau' aka Vikas Pathak was terminated from YouTube, Facebook and Instagram for posting a video that made an open call for violence.
He recently made a reappearance on all three platforms.

Meta removed his new pages too after Alt News emailed the social media company. Pathak had 1.4 million followers on Instagram. He used to post similar content on both platforms - engaging in online gender-based violence and sharing posts targeting the Muslim community.

General Secretary of Hindu Jagran Manch (HJM) Himachal Pradesh Kamal Gautam used Facebook to routinely share violent content targeting the Muslim minority community in India. @AltNews wrote to Facebook and his page was subsequently removed.
