@RoseAylingEllis Really enjoyed your insightful documentary. My deaf parents were born to hearing families in 1939 & 1958, I can’t believe that parents are still advised not to sign with their deaf children. When will hearing professionals learn from the deaf lived experience?

@JohnBishop100 Really enjoyed both shows, but my Deaf dad struggled to follow the stand up without subtitles. Every cut to the audience, every wide shot, meant he lost the thread of the joke. Many Deaf ppl rely on subtitles over BSL. Such a poor decision to actively remove them.

@cineworld Great film- funny, unexpected & interesting. Love @cineworld’s attempt to be inclusive by showing with subtitles (I’d love to see this more!) but very poorly executed with more than half the speech missing. Would be impossible to follow if deaf or HOH. @deafgirly #GreenBook
