It was a good game.

I am very happy we played this game so early in the season.

Our weaknesses were clearly exposed by a better team, we’re nowhere near the level we think we are.

We have so many gaps.

Firstly, we do not have defenders. My mutuals know I have been shouting for us to buy defenders in summer, I screamed everyday. Cancelo cannot take us anywhere, he is good attacking wise, he is the WORST defensively. He ball watches a lot, the goal Fabian Ruiz scored us, if you remember years ago, Dembele scored us the same goal, twice, home and away. Aside the goal, many errors defensively but PSG did not take their chances.

Gerard Martin is not elite, he is very average, he’s okay as an option but this is Barcelona, we cannot have such players starting. He’s been decent and I’m not blaming him, but guys, nothing elite about him. See our competitors, Gabriel and Saliba/Konsa, Pacho, Upamecano, etc, Levante defenders are not our competitors, these are the elite guys, he’s not at that level.

Gordon was nothing to write home about. If he sees Qarabag, he’ll score 5, see your mates, play ball nau, he can’t. I was so pissed that he had so much space in front of him but he kept taking the ball back, a winger? Adeyemi came in and same. These guys ain’t elite. They’re not on Doue or Kvara’s level. If they catch Elche for weekend, their preek go stand.

I don’t understand the experiment with benching Rodri, this is the game we want to see our we can do, and he’s been a big part of that set up. Bernal did not do bad honestly, but I would have loved to see Rodri with Pedri.

The team was shit. Lamine was shit but he made up with the goal, but goals don’t impress me, he was shit, lots of lost balls in the first half especially , Raphinha was attempting snake bite but the snake wasn’t biting😭, Fermin is having a 1v1 but trying to dink, when we all know he’s a lethal and ruthless finisher, I cannot just understand these guys.

If we lose against Madrid over the weekend, our momentum “might” spiral down from there. We must bounce back in that game and get back to speed.

Like I said, I’m happy Barcelona played PSG this time in the season, Flick can see where needs improvement.
