“can we normalize not reading 30+ books a year” YES because reading is not a competition. but acting like reading 30 books a year is physically impossible is insane that’s literally 2-3 books a month. people binge 9 seasons of shows in a week but suddenly books are impossible?

I know it’s a common thing people say that “Fire Emblem has never had good stories” but honestly I think that’s fine because while the macro story is generally simple, the micro story (who you deploy, supports, who beats the boss, etc) determined by RNG is always engaging.

The recent comments of "it's impossible to find f/f SFF" or "there's no m/m fantasy" (both demonstrably untrue) have reminded me of something I learned as a librarian, which is that most people genuinely don't know how to find books they will like.

@SYLVE0NIE_ Nightsoul mechanics aren’t as locked down in terms of availability with a decent amount of 4*’s but Mavuika really thrives on a Nightsoul team. Hexerei is slowly phasing in and Durin is an excellent unit for those going forward since he works with so many good Mond 4*’s

@baizhutales I love Lauma’s design bc gay but I feel the criticism is really that they made Sandrone’s redesign antithetical to her character and it feels sloppy. We def need to be clear that the devs deserve our ire for making a lazy redesign

@chrryblussm I just wish fantasy wasn’t going thru this phase of “it all needs SPICE (which is barely above vanilla sorry not sorry)” and that they would stop pulling popular fanfictions and scraping off the serial numbers to publish it as “original”. That never sat right with me imho
