This is a big reason why dsmp fanfic is even still around, after everything that’s happened since the server ended. There was so much substance for people to use in so many ways. It literally created such a creative fanfic scene, that there are fandoms FOR specific dsmp fanfics

reminded me of this tumblr post i love. despite all its flaws and failures dsmp is kind of incapable of being mindless slop in a time where slop is pretty much the only thing being pushed. the creativity it inspires in people is a testament to that and what keeps me invested.
