Modern History of Taiwan:

Prior to 1895, Taiwan was part of the Qing Empire. From 1895 to 1945, it was Japanese territory. Following the end of World War II in 1945, the Chinese Nationalist Party (KMT) was entrusted by the victorious Allied Forces, led by the United States, to administer and take over Taiwan. In 1949, defeated by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the KMT fled to Taiwan, bringing with them the Republic of China (ROC) regime, utilizing the island as a base for their future goal to "reclaim the Chinese mainland."

Subsequently, the KMT's obsession with competing against the CCP for the legitimate ownership of the name "China" forced Taiwan to bear the original sin of this alien ROC regime. Meanwhile, due to shifting international dynamics and domestic political realities, Taiwan remains unable to rid itself of the ROC title, constitution, national flag, and national anthem—all of which fled from China and have been parasitizing Taiwan ever since. To this day, the Taiwanese people are still unable to self-determine their own national name, constitution, and flag.

Although the democratically elected Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) government continuously uses the name "Taiwan" to introduce the island to the world, and the international community widely recognizes "Taiwan" rather than the "ROC," Taiwan is still barred from using its own name in various international organizations and activities due to China's suppression and interference.

Furthermore, because the ROC's official English name contains the word "China," Taiwan is frequently misidentified as part of the PRC, which also provides pro-China individuals with a pretext to claim that Taiwan belongs to China. All of these are the alien original sins brought to Taiwan from China by the KMT, a burden under which Taiwan continues to suffer to this day.

The contemporary China, the People's Republic of China, was only established in October 1949. When has Taiwan ever belonged to this China? Where does this "inalienable part" nonsense even come from? This is clearly a case of China wanting to invade Taiwan and occupy its superior geographical position, just to break through the democratic alliance’s containment of the First Island Chain and realize China's dream of challenging American hegemony.
