This is ignorance, NOT piety. The Imām might still be alive, it might still be possible to revive or save him. Someone should be tending to him while another continues with the prayer. Leaving him there entirely will cause distractions for those who are still praying and leave him absolutely no chance of survival. This is not what Islam teaches us. Saving a life will always take precedence. Missed prayers can be observed again. A life lost could never be brought back to life.

Whether this video is real or not, if this happens to your Īmām, for the sake of Allah, please don't ignore him. Your Salat is important but saving him or anyone else in that moment is more important.
