Non-profits are vital to our province. I’m grateful to @unique_together Society, a non-profit that runs a food hamper delivery program that provides nutritious food for families in Vancouver. BC funding allows them to continue to fund initiatives such as Anti-Racism Focus Groups.
Human Rights Day is a time to reflect on the progress made in the promotion and protection of human rights globally and to highlight the ongoing challenges. We join the United Nations in advocating for the rights of marginalized and vulnerable populations.
