Trae Young says he wishes he never played it safe when he injured his ankle against the Bucks in 2021 and says had they beaten them, they’d win the championship.
"If I knew what I know now, I would have played through my sprained ankle. My agents were telling me not to play… We were two games away from going to the finals. We had beaten the Suns twice that year. You never know when that opportunity is going to come again."
"That's one thing that breaks me. I wish I would have just triple-taped it, put the ankle brace on top, and played through that pain." 🥲

Great for the NBA product that the commentators on a playoff game just outright said “if you’re the hawks you’re not gonna get those calls like the Knicks”. Really sells the integrity
Seeing former Hawks like Joe Johnson, Lou Williams and Jeff Teague go so hard for the Hawks right now ahead of the Knicks series is dope.🙏👏#TrueToAtlanta
Life is often challenging. Trial after trial. We don't have all of the answers, but we know that You do. Almighty, we have full faith in You and know that You always have our backs. You’re our Provider, Cherisher, Sustainer, Protector and everything we need! Keep us firm in faith.
Yā Allāh, if You give to me, then I am grateful. And if You delay, then I am patient. Teach my heart that Your timing is perfect, Your decree is wise, and Your mercy surrounds me in every condition.
