Today was the first day of #KnifeCrimeAwarenessWeek & the @UnitedBorders bus parked up on Commerce Road. Our students were very interested to climb aboard & meet the team. We’re looking forward to the bus joining us on Commerce Road each week. 🚌 @haringeyyouth#ThisIsAP

@Beverleyknight what an absolute pleasure! Beverley Knight needs to come up in normal discourse about one of the best vocalists around! Generational talent 🙌🏾 My daughter, Partner and I were clapping away and in tears at the end! Phenomenal and a must watch💖😢@Beverleyknight 🫡
As part of @brentcouncil robberies reduction initiatives, we provide services to areas which have increased robberies. Targeting areas with positive detached mentoring, a safe space for young people to create, relax, meet others and connect with a mentor. Photo @carolinarapezzi
Funding Grassroots with coordinated services works, the proof is in the statistics.
A long way to go but this is why it’s important to keep the youth sector properly funded.

Yesterday, @itvnews London covered our latest findings on the impact of diversion from the criminal justice system.
They also visited United Borders who shared personal experiences from their mentors, and the importance of steering young people away from violence.
"By diverting [young people] away from negative activities and negative mindsets we then give them the best hope and the best chances for the future." - Tanvi Patel, Lead Mentor at United Borders.
