The talk about Cantona yday not being able to compare to Salah is absolutely incorrect, Cantona 0.37 Assists Per 90 in the Premier League, absolutely top level & amongst the best the league has produced. In the elite bracket with Bergkamp, Bruno, Giggs, De Bruyne & Nani.

@themagic_tophat This is completely incorrect. 16 were not 'spammed' (whatever that means?) or set pieces. 9 out of 20 of Bruno's assists were from set pieces, 11 from open play situations. Trying to say that a cross for a goal or a set piece is not a legitimate way of scoring which is pathetic.

Fabregas, Beckham & David Silva also in the elite bracket. All the players on the chart were top level though. Salah 0.32 just below 1 in 3 very, very high level, Cantona one of the greatest passers the league has ever seen. Messi, Muller & C Ronaldo included for context.

Not something you expect to see. Luke Shaw has played the most minutes of any Utd player this season.
Fair play to him after a couple of tough seasons with injuries. Tbf both him & Maguire have committed far fewer mistakes this season & stepped up a lot.

Martinez has had a terrible time with injuries & gives 100% every time he steps on the field, Keane, Scholes & Butt would be proud to play with him if they did, so just lay off him. I've had a go at players for performance but you should never cross the line into abuse.

...for our centre forward still, has not produced a balanced squad, plays a formation the squad isn't suited to & until last week was the most tactically inflexible manager we have ever had.
Amorim doesn't have the experience to manage Utd & is basically learning on the job

Any manager who came in & did a good job & got us competing would be absolutely fine by me. But as for Amorim the only thing he has been mildly decent at is set pieces, the football is poor, his in-game management is awful, we cannot break down a low block, don't create chances..

And what have Utd done to mitigate this challenge? Nothing. We have no deals set up to bring in players, even on loan. These deals should be set up & ready to go, we can afford to sign players & get loan signings.

United have once again left themselves in the position of being ill prepared for the current squad challenges, they knew about AFCON & players would be gone for a month but we didn't prepare for the obvious injury crisis that was bound to come at the same time.

So we have a threadbare squad relying on kids to come in & do a job which is not fair on them or their careers (they don't seem ready). United should have been prepared for this, we have an injury crisis every season, so it's no surprise it happened while AFCON is on.
