My friends Michael, Jen & JoAnn work at the Federal Hill Tavern at T.F. Green airport, where I grab lunch before flying to DC each week.
They & their @UNITEHERE26 colleagues have been working without a contract for a year. Unacceptable! Their employer, Grove Bay, must do better.
Proudly standing with @UNITEHERE26 on the picket line at TF Green. Yesterday, I learned this is the union’s first strike since 1979. Despite many, reasonable efforts for a fair wage, Unite Here members still do not have a contract. It’s time they do.
