Unite Parliamentary and Constituency Staff Branch are hosting a breakfast drop-in before the members' staff conference on Wednesday.!
We will also be in The Woolsack from 5.30pm for a catch-up afterwards!
IPSA will also be consulting with staff at 1:30pm on Tuesday next week. They'll be in the Boothroyd Room as part of the New Parliament Fair. Staff can also sign up to join on online meeting with IPSA (through ACT.)
IPSA is consulting on MP staff conditions, such as continuity of service. We really encourage all MP staff to respond https://t.co/5sHQJ3AcX3…We're prepared model answers on the questions most relevant to us- drop us a message for a copy.
What is it really like working for an MP? And are conditions getting better or worse?

After fifteen years I am no longer Chair of @unitepsbranch, the union branch representing staff of MPs and Lords from all parties in parliament and in constituency offices.
Please forgive me a bit of self-indulgence to detail some of the achievements we have made in that time.
And so Bone lost the seat not only for himself but for his girlfriend and his party.
The consequences of bullying your staff are now clear and real.
MPs take note.
A truly significant moment.
For the first time an MP has lost their seat predominantly due to bullying staff.
I hope others take note and recognise that their behaviour may now have severe consequences.
Thank you @MickWhitleyMP for signing a recognition agreement with @unitepsbranch.
Over the coming months staff will be asking their MPs to sign recognition agreements.
We look forward to many more MPs getting on board
