@ScottLucian Somebody asked me one time why I go to the range as often as I do. Besides the obvious recreation aspect of it, which I enjoy. I read something yrs ago that stuck. “I’d rather be a warrior in a garden, then a gardener in a war”
@XCzsnx Gov can simply end hunger in their respective countries by prioritizing citizens. The very people who pay for their existence.
Why do we feel the need to attack the rich, and not gov who have put us here. Why do we demand Elon to foot the bill we’ve already paid for!?
@thoughtographic The dropout flipping burgers IS getting what he worked for.
The apprentice turned tradesman, IS getting what he worked for.
The uni student who went on and got a PhD, IS getting what he worked for. Socialism rewards mediocrity at the expense of others.
@politicalham@GadSaad Wait times at hospitals are insane, kids can’t perform basic math, roads are blowing out front ends, infrastructure in every major city is crumbling. Unemployment up, homelessness up, food bank usage up. Doesn’t appear to be a lot of representation for the enormous taxation.
@marissenmark “Treat everybody equally regardless of race or unique characteristics.”
But somehow you’ve mistaken that for hate speech?!
WTF is wrong with you?
@RayburnBev Please stop voting. You’re not informed and layman’s like yourself will continue to plunge us into economic debt for generations because y’all are naive and easily manipulated.
@OrevaZSN Hear me out, it won’t work.
Abolish mandated taxes based on income, and shift the tax to point of sale. That’s the only way the rich get clipped on their fair share, when they spend it, not in the corporate shell game. Need another Bentley, well there’s a 75% tax on that luxury.
@saffronandsky@omgsidewalks I’m in education. I was active in trades.
Considering the work life balance between both professions, I’m compensated quite fairly in my current role.
We’ve put too much emphasis on educators to be more than that, hence the demand for +$, because parents won’t parent.
@creator_dude@TroyWestwood The response I expected after I reduced your “principled” stance to nothing more than what it was. Juvenile.
Think like us, act like us, or you’re not 1 of us.
Dude, that sounds like a cult to me.
@creator_dude@TroyWestwood 🙄, you’re obviously lacking basic comprehension.
So let’s try it from your view.
It’s your assertion that if I don’t blindly applaud the current gov, and as a result criticize their constant ineptitude, I’m uncanadian, and should leave.
Am I correct so far?
@SteveRudzinski@omgsidewalks What trade?
We teach trades at our local college. I get calls weekly from contacts asking how many apprentices I have, when they’ll be ready, and are they working. Maybe it’s the local?
A lot of us travel for work, food for thought.
Anyways, hopefully things turn around 4 pops
@saffronandsky@omgsidewalks I feel that. However, the same can be done by training future trades people knowing they can have a future. My point was, if you’re being trained for a job that doesn’t have a demand, you’ve wasted your time and investment.
@RicahrdJames@BartFurley 26.2 billion with a B transferred out in 2025. Gov is broke, 1.47 trillion in debt, and drowning daily. Pluck out the annual 25+B the gov gets from AB( the biggest contributor BTW). Without that contribution services and tax rates will go up. Hence the “grassroots” 🇨🇦1st. 😂😂
@creator_dude@TroyWestwood Another brain washed liberal who beliefs patriotism is synonymous with approving gov. Here’s a strange thought, you can love your country and hate your gov at the same time. I will continue to voice my opinion as guaranteed by my charter, until we get a functioning gov.
@omgsidewalks Earnings are based on a skill set. If your skill set is basic, so is your pay. On what planet do you think a burger flipper makes the same as a plumber or nurse? You don’t get paid to exist!
