WE HAVEN’T ARRIVED: For as long as we talk about PLATINUM MATTE and NICKEL MATTE, both of which go to South Africa for beneficiation, we haven’t arrived. We are exporting VALUE; we are exporting JOBS; we are exporting GROWTH; we are exporting DEVELOPMENT. Above all, we are exporting OUR NATIONAL HONOUR by enabling the marginals of the SOUTHERN AFRICAN ECONOMY to strut about as our SUPERIORS!!!!! Musandituke!!!!!!
On 14 January 2002, the remains of Moffat Soka Chiwaura — an MDC supporter — were discovered inside a plastic bag on Atherstone Farm, a property belonging to the Minister of State Security in the President’s Office and MP for Shamva.
Chiwaura was forcibly disappeared in Bindura on 29 December 2001, during the violence that killed his brother-in-law, Trymore Midzi. On that day, ZANU-PF militia and Border Gezi youths abducted Midzi from Chipadze Bottle Store.
He was 24.
They attacked him with chains, sticks and knives, striking, stabbing and crushing him. The post-mortem recorded the brutality in clinical detail: multiple bruises, stab wounds, abrasions and a skull fracture.
Midzi died on 31 December at the Avenues Clinic in Harare, while Chiwaura was taken and never seen again. Two weeks later, his body was found inside a plastic bag on a minister’s farm.
Goche and his ZANU-PF enforcers must answer in court for the abduction, torture and killing of Moffat Soka Chiwaura and Trymore Midzi.
Every lawyer should read decisions of the Supreme Court of the United States even when they dont apply to their jurisdiction.
Pure legal art. The legal reasoning and writing is phenomenal.

On a more serious note, here are a few interesting books thinking about institutional emergence, persistence, and change, beyond the basic inclusive/extractive framework:
Morocco’s protest to have Senegal stripped off the title was REJECTED. Senegal confirmed as champions of AFCON. Morocco who filed a complaint against Senegal in the end got slapped with a fine too.

God does not need you to defend His goodness by claiming He always wants to give healing which is temporary. If you will be patient and read this to the end you will see why that unsettling feeling you’re having at hearing this is not needed.
You want to prove God is good. It is a nice intention but a disordered one. Your mind is following a natural syllogism which goes… Healing is good. A good God will heal. God is good therefore God will always heal. When God doesn’t heal, the person is ALWAYS the problem.
But that syllogism is wrong.
You misunderstand what the true good is. So with your bias you read the gospels wrongly and divorced from the Old Testament and epistles, you misrepresent God and make false promises; and you shipwreck and disillusion the faith of many in the process. You will end up achieving the opposite of what you set out to do.
You need to understand what the true good is. if you don’t know what true good is, the Bible won’t make sense to you. You will ignore many texts and exaggerate others beyond the intent.
So here goes…
The best thing that can happen to a suffering person is not temporary relief but eternal relief. The best thing that can happen to an afflicted person is not temporary deliverance but reconciliation with the eternal God who gives eternal life. Every relief in this world is subordinate to, inferior to, less desirable than and expendable for eternal relief.
This is why we don’t need leg-over to explain away the fact that God refused to take away Paul’s affliction from satan but gave grace to endure it. Paul gave us the clear reason why. He said Deliverance from conceit, so that he won’t lose eternal relief, was far more important than deliverance from affliction. Affliction with humility was better for him than pride with deliverance.
SO, God can allow an affliction from satan in order to save a soul. And Sickness is an affliction. God can allow it to save a soul. Everything is subordinate to eternal salvation.
Please you need to get this or you might not even be a Christian. Or maybe you’re a Christian but a babe that thinks Christianity is all about comfort and no suffering. Listen…
This is why we don’t need a blindfold when reading cases like Timothy’s chronic sickness. We don’t need to redact the fact that Paul asked Timothy to take natural remedies for long term sickness. We don’t need to on-look the fact that Paul called Epaphroditus’ healing an act of God’s mercy. Paul appreciates the healing of his dear son, not like an entitlement, but as an act of undeserved mercy for a Christian. We don’t need to imply that anyone who speaks like Paul today is “faithless”.
This was the mind of the Galatian Christians that even though Paul was terribly sick while preaching to them, they still revered him like an angel. It is the same kind of mind that kept them through various afflictions and trials, loss of property and life and loved ones and they never doubted the goodness of God.
There are those who boast in WOF circles that they’ve never been sick for decades because of their covenant or price paid. Maybe Paul that was sick many times was of weak faith. SMH.
Listen….
God is the good. And true good is to enjoy Him forever. And every other good is subordinate to this. EVERY OTHER GOOD INCLUDING HEALING IS SUBORDINATE TO SALVATION.
Brethren, We don’t need to say unbiblical things to explain away the fact that many faithful men endured long term sickness and some died in sickness. We don’t need to always blame them. We don’t need to gaslight people who have trusted God truly for healing and were not healed but slept.
We don’t need to ignore that Jesus refused to give healing to non-Israelites like us. They were human beings, gentiles, like us and Jesus said even His disciples should not go to them.
Jesus didn’t offer healing to everyone at the pool of Bethesda. He asked only one man and left the rest. Why did he not ask all of them as He did the man?
The regenerate does not remain in sin because the presence and power of God that Indwells Him is a righteous spirit. Though he stumbles, he does not stay on the ground because His heart is inclined upwards perpetually to the throne of Christ, where His true strength lies.
Besetting sins may surface every now and then, but there is nothing in the flesh more potent than the power of the Holy Spirit. As long as he is willing to wait on God in repentance and a plea of holiness, He will soon know the influence of the spirit that binds the heart of a man to the Lord’s will.
God is right about everything. Each generation comes to realize this truth in its own way, often through suffering, as His wisdom proves deeper than our own.
Yet even this is an optimistic way of putting it. Many never come to see it at all, they harden their hearts, despise His counsel, and perish in their delusions.
