They finished 8th against extra points last season — 1.8 a game — because they don’t let offenses finish drives. But they were 23rd against field goals at 2.2 allowed. Drives get to the 25 and die, and the kicker comes out - that was the whole 2025 script. With a much stronger O lineup and a more experienced Bo Nix, this gives plenty of opportunities for Lutz to get things going.📈

Lutz has been cashing this anyway. 8.20 a game over his last 5, 7.80 over his last 10, with an 8, a 12 and a 15 in there. Denver moves the ball and stalls — that’s a kicker’s dream script.

I know this hasn’t been his best matchup historically. He’s also never had this Denver offense in front of him while Kansas City was giving up field goals at this rate. New matchups, higher scoring projections, green results expected only.
