I don’t take straight men’s whining about how “patriarchal” straight women are seriously because in their mind we live in a post patriarchal world and patriarchy isn’t a social reality and it’s instead a “relationship style” that you can opt out of if you’re alt or whatever.
I think about this tweet all the time. I think it’s such a healthy, gentle, beautiful attitude towards love and loss. Never be ungrateful for love, never let bitterness poison your days or your nights
