Jaylen Brown breaks down the adversity & the bond that made this his favorite year
“I got to see the rookie Hugo add value, & play with fire. I saw Jordan, who was trying to find his footing, grow every day in practice. I watched Queta become a starting big in this league. Payton Pritchard who was already a killer took on more responsibility & developed into a true go to guy. I saw Jayson Tatum come back from injury & mentally overcome everything that takes. I watched my teammates grow & overcome adversity up close. The expectations were for us to fail, to be nothing, & to quit. We did the exact opposite. We fought every single day. We aren’t satisfied with the result, but to maneuver through that adversity & galvanize as a group? That’s why this was my favorite season. I wouldn't say by far, because winning a championship is great, but I’m telling y’all this was my favorite season.”

i genuinely have no desire to be rich so i can buy a rolex or a Lamborghini.
i want to be rich so i can control my time and go to the gym at 3pm on a monday.
sit at a cafe and relax for an hour on a rainy afternoon.
so i can cook meals at home with fresh ingredients.
spend on my family and friends without worrying about a budget.
that's my idea of a rich life, not the fake consumerist idea shoved down my throat.
