🌊 Mappa della geografia calcistica delle Isole Hawaii realizzata da me🌴
The Hawaiian Islands are a large archipelago located approximately 3,000 km off the American coast, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, and are the 50th state of the United States.
Soccer is among the most popular and followed sports on the archipelago, with significant activity at both the men's and women's levels, but especially at the youth level, with a very large number of teams.
The remoteness of the mainland makes it difficult to establish teams that can actively play in the American system (although a franchise was created in the 1970s). However, this has not prevented the birth and development of soccer, primarily on the island of #Oahu, thanks to Cesar Robledo and Sergio Bolioli in the 1990s, who founded @misosoccer Major Island Soccer Organization Hawaii, still the most important competition in the entire Hawaiian archipelago, based in #Honolulu. It consists of three divisions with a system of promotion and relegation, in addition to the #RobledoCup (a competition between all teams), and organizes women's, youth, and masters +45 championships.
Among the most important teams are Paradise Soccer Club @PYSAInfo, Lanikai Tuesday, Hawaii United FC, Armed Forces Hawaii F.C., @HawaiiRush, and @FC_Hawaii.
There are also championships on the island of #Kauai, with irregular tournaments and a smaller number of teams, on the #BigIsland(Hawaii), and on the island of #Maui, albeit with 8-on-8 tournaments. There are also coed leagues.
The MISO leagues on Kauai, Maui, and the Big Island are part of the Hawaii Soccer Association.
Finally, there are two "national" teams for the Hawaiian Islands: one is registered with @NFBoardOfficial whose team can be made up of anyone born in the archipelago, regardless of ethnicity, while the other is registered with @CONIFAOfficial , where anyone of Hawaiian origin or descent can play.

🇵🇲 Mused for exactly 7 minutes about a fun family trip and "popping up" to St. Pierre and Miquelon to catch the last match of the season for my birthday and nearly died when I saw the travel costs. 🥀😔
The groups have been drawn. Predicting a Padania Vs Northern Cyprus final. There's no semi-finals so it's just the group winners progressing with the second placed teams in a third place match. No fifth place.

20 years ago, my grandma passed away and left me a huge postcard collection.
Browsing through it for the first time, really, I found an ancient card of #Enfield, where I co-organised a #CONIFA World Cup final in 2018. What a coincidence!

Not sure if a standalone category, or a modifier to existing membership categories, but CONIFA is proposing an amendment for refugee teams
