im editing a book about neurodivergency in teen girls and man this shit would've been fantastic to have growing up. making me realize how much of this shit i dealt with... but it's kind of nice to be contributing to other girls having the resources when they need it

i think some part of me was fundamentalyl altered when i first read lord of the rings at age 12 and sauron was defeated and there was still like 100 pages left in the book. you can’t have a story about overcoming an impossible evil without showing the consequences and a denoument

i think the little women (2019) trailer is a masterpiece for many reasons but maybe most of all for how it included this line but purposely left out “but i’m so lonely” so when you got to this scene while actually watching the movie it blindsided you like a fucking freight train
