Rune v1.3 is out!
A huge thank you to every open source contributor who helped make this release happen. Seeing people put their time and care into Rune means a lot to us.
We're proud to be building this with you.

Decided to put Rune to work on its own JS/TS integration. Sent Opus 5.5 on a little adventure. Two hours in, it looks like we might sneak an experimental version into v1.3.
Browser tabs are coming to Rune in v1.3, powered by our new kitty graphics pipeline, which just landed on main.
I guess we’re out of excuses for not adding full JS/TS support.
Rune v1.1.3 patch is out.
It fixes broken keyboard input on Linux: shortcuts like Super+L no longer run their command and also type “l” into the editor.
Also fixed: terminal input latency, Linux sign-in hangs, SSH task terminals closing unexpectedly, and J line joins in Vi mode.
9/ Rune is now free for personal, non-commercial use: the full IDE, no usage limit, no expiration. Commercial use adds a perpetual license: one payment, two years of upgrades, yours to keep. https://t.co/hujHyNAwtH
1/ Today we are releasing Rune 1.1, for macOS and Linux. It makes Rune free for personal use, adds a perpetual commercial license, and lands a workspace symbol index, Python support, an Emacs editor and revamps our standard editor. https://t.co/WEznVi3ZMt
7/ Symbol lookup used to depend on language servers, which are slow on large repos. Rune 1.1 adds an on-disk workspace symbol index for Go, Python, and Rust (first-class support for Rust soon). Resolution is 65-77% faster using ~95% less memory. https://t.co/zAV8TXpyCT
