Mali Obomsawin is coming to UNT - critically acclaimed and award-winning bassist, singer, and bandleader from the Abenaki First Nation (Odanak). Mali has also written the soundtrack for the Oscar nominated film @SugarcaneFilm. February 27, 7:30pm in the Union Syndicate!

Our final event of the 119th season is coming up! Tuesday, April 16th, Ottessa Moshfegh, author of critically acclaimed works "Eileen," "My Year of Rest and Relaxation," and "Lapvona," will be at UNT to give a talk on the craft and inspiration behind her diverse body of work!

The @UNTCoM hosted jazz prodigy and five-time Grammy-winning multi-instrumentalist, @jacobcollier, as he conducted a free creative workshop for UNT students. Jacob performed his signature improvised compositions and transformed the audience into an impromptu choir.
