Everyone must come together and raise their voice against the E20 petrol mandate. Users deserve a say in such a major policy decision that will affect their hard-earned cars and bikes, despite the heavy taxes they already pay on them.

Absolutely. Studies already show E20 can reduce mileage by 3–6 % in compatible vehicles, and up to 15 % in older ones. Ethanol also absorbs moisture, which can corrode fuel lines, injectors, and seals over time. Many owners are unknowingly filling E20 because pumps aren’t clearly labeling it. Before mandating, the government must address compatibility, long-term engine health, and give consumers the choice of pure petrol.

CCTV footage: A passenger being thrashed by associates of BJP MLA Rajeev Singh, simply because he refused to switch his seat with the MLA on Vande Bharat train.

The passenger sustained injuries, his clothes soaked in blood, yet he didn't file complaint against the MLA. But now, BJP MLA filed an NCR against the passenger for alleged misbehavior.

The passenger didn't switch the seat, so the MLA switched the blame. After all, how dare a common man cause discomfort to a VIP?
