I felt Miley Cyrus when she said:
"I didn't talk badly about you. I talked about what you did to me. If that makes you look bad, that's between you and your behavior. Because telling the truth about my experience isn't bitterness. It's clarity. And I'm not responsible for protecting someone's image when they had no problem damaging my peace."
Sometimes the truth only sounds harsh because someone benefited from the silence
im FOREVERRRRRRRR praying that i get my fairytale ending.. the dream career. the financial freedom. the friends. the family. the peace. the love... just everything tht i truly & genuinely deserve
Y'all will soon realize that someone can say they want you and mean it with their feelings and still fail you with their habits, their behaviors, words and actions. Love without structure is where emotional safety dies.
There are women who will talk for hours without gossiping even once about other people. They talk about their goals, their interests, their fears, their routines, their past, their desires, but not a single moment do they talk about others.
I did not think this was possible. I did not know healthy women who avoided gossip existed, but they do. It truly is so refreshing to talk to someone for hours about life & not once need to mention others in the conversation.
from woman to woman, stop and breathe, return to yourself, listen to yourself, feel yourself, honor yourself, validate yourself, always put yourself first
Vocal men are top tier. Imagine telling you how much they love you, point out the wrong doings in a nice tone, never invalidate your feelings, communicate with you when you hurt them, and telling you how worthy you are and how much you mean to them.
I don’t think you've truly found your person until you meet someone who steps in for you.. not because you asked, not because you begged, not because you broke down and explained every detail, but simply because they care. Because your peace is important to them. Because your burdens aren't just yours anymore they feel them too. 💖✍🏽
If you let her know she’s your priority & that she actually matters to you, you’d be surprised how much easier things become. Women aren’t as complicated as people make them out to be. They don’t need big gestures every day. They just want to feel valued, respected and protected by the man they give their heart to. Make the call. Send the text. If you’re busy, say that. If something’s off, communicate it. If you mess up, own it. Not because she’s insecure but because consistency creates security
As you get older as a woman, the things you value in a man start to shift. It’s not really about the finest man, the best dressed, or the one flashing the most money anymore. it’s about the man who’s thoughtful. The one who picks up dinner when he knows it’s been a long day for both of y’all. The helpful man who washes the dishes after you cook & helps fold the clothes without being asked. The man who sees something around the house needs fixing & just handles it. The family man who wants to plan bbq’s at the park, take little adventures, & actually build a life together. The gentle, patient type of man who brings peace instead of chaos. Life really too short to settle for anything less. 🫶🏽
I love a good man, one that listen to you & change his ways. One that do things without having to be asked. One that adore the ground you walk on, never stops chasing you even after he gets you, One that respects you no matter what. One that’s scared to lose you! he loves you.
