@AyushSe42042570@blacknredtext there's nothing to speculate on with decompilation, you are handed exact functionality, it's just an incredibly mind numbing task. I get your point but it doesn't apply here or in most coding scenarios. they will do testing to make sure things are correct, they also have vision
@AyushSe42042570@blacknredtext what are you talking about? the AI will use the exact same tools as you would manually. you get byte exact results and the only difference is potentially function names or code formatting. do you know at all how the process of decompilation works?
@starve4drpepper it shows since everything you described is generative. why do retards feel the need to speak on topics they don't even understand themselves?
@AyushSe42042570@blacknredtext that doesn't really make any sense, it will do testing by itself and confirm real numbers. any harness uses a bunch of tool calls to confirm real things about your system and the programs it creates. this is basic info, have you ever used one?
@Xlon224@angellgirle2@vi0lent_artist in that case it would need no maintenance right? since there's no complications. I'm sure we both know that's not true
@phreshoutt@ScyanYT you can run local models on a mid range computer that score higher on the intelligence index than SOTA models 1 year ago, we're essentially already there
@Fair_Balanced_@soup_of_god@GabrielSleeps I understand you're fearmongering but why did the bugfix myth take off? yes ofc it can reverse engineer entire programs but it can't fix correctness bugs... we cannot be serious
@CaptainAstroX@ManaByte explain the process, you're telling industry professionals how to do their job so I'm sure you have some insight yourself right? you wouldn't just make baseless claims correct?
