We are a Student Volunteering Society at the University of Birmingham helping to maintain local parklands. Come along to get outdoors and have a great time!
Thank you to all of our volunteers for your hard work over the past year! The garden has been transformed and we are very grateful to everyone that has helped out week on week. We hope that everybody has a relaxing summer and we can’t wait to see you all again in September!
Thank you to the @uobconservation volunteers and @Grow_With_Joe for keeping me busy every Sunday for the past four years! I am so grateful for my time with the society and the wonderful people that I’ve met. I can’t wait to see how BUCV continues to grow in the future 🍓💗🌺👩🌾
Were you a part of the @uobconservation society when you were a student? The current committee wants to get in touch with past members of the society, going all the way back to when it was founded in 1973 to share their memories. Contact Lawrence or Chloe [email protected]
🍓🌺Our new plant swap stand 🍓🌼 Passers by now have the opportunity to swap any plant that they can no longer home with one left at the stand! Simply leave a labelled plant with care instructions and take another one in exchange. Happy swapping!!
We are very excited to announce we are launching the sale of the Grow with Joe t-shirts and tote bags! Both will be in white featuring the brand new design shown below.
The prices are:
£15 for a t-shirt
£10 for a bag
£20 for both

Absolutely massive big up to Isla Cummings for creating this art work for the society! It’s been a pleasure working with Isla, who has taken in all our jumbled ideas and produced exactly what we hoped for! 💚
A new 'Grow with Joe' community compost project has launched on campus.

Compost Week may be ending, but please remember to keep using our compost bins at the @Grow_With_Joe garden and continue to incorporate this within your weekly routine.
Composting helps to keep products out of landfill, so do get involved! Help us help the environment 🌿😍
It is that time of year where we need to think about who will run this beautiful society for the next academic year? We will be running a zoom session where we can talk people through what the role entails in more detail before we run our AGM. Check our Facebook for more details
