A Community for Minorities in STEM (CMiS) @ UO focuses on fostering a supportive & inclusive community for ethnic & cultural minorities in the STEM field
On Thursday, November 21st, UO CMiS Outreach members Davis, Alex, and Nora hosted a table of cool sound activities for students to partake in at the Cesar Chavez STEM Night! We even had a fun activity for students to take home to do for Thanksgiving!
On Friday, October 18th, some of the CMiS Outreach crew (Alex, Nora, Annabelle, Addison, and Malvika) had a lot of fun hosting a "Windmill Workshop" at the Adams Elementary STEM Night and introducing students to energy transfer using jello optic fibers and paper windmills.
