A few of us went out and chased severe storms across Saskatchewan yesterday. We didn’t catch the first tornado producing storm near the US border, but caught the tornado just east of Regina later that afternoon! #SKStorm

On Wednesday, near North Platte, Nebraska, we found ourselves face-to-face with nature’s wildest tantrum - tornadoes in full, roaring display!

Last Friday will forever be engraved in our memories. For most of the students, this was their first time ever seeing a tornado. And not just one, but seven!

Last night before we head home tomorrow. Spending the night in Ames, IA (we found a hotel, yay!) + heading for dinner to celebrate our tornadoes from yesterday! #UMChase23

Currently positioned south of Des Moines, IA. Tricky decision is to either go north and play the developing line of storms and hope one remains isolated, or dive southeast to the ongoing convection that’s been struggling, but in the better environment.. #UMChase23
